James Jones | Fitness Confidence Well-being
BEFITBEABLE provides motivation, support and novel, varied and fun ways to gain back movement and strength that have been lost due to an accident, a stroke or a debilitating disease such as MS.
James Jones designed this program as a result of learning to walk again and regain strength after a stroke at the age of 40. A former college football player for the University of Florida, Army Specialist and then with Federal Express, James had a brain aneurism that resulted in a stroke.
“I was unable to talk for three-and-a-half months, spent 225 days in the hospital and was told I would spend the rest of my life in a wheel chair. That was not ok with me.”
As a former athlete, James worked hard in physical therapy but wanted more and faster results than he was achieving. James took his recovery into his own hands. He persevered, worked hard and studied. He became a personal fitness coach, specializing in helping people (anyone) with physical challenges. Now, eight years later, he is driving, taking care of himself and helping others to do the same.
“I started this program to help others like me see how far they can go. I want people to imagine what they can be. We were all somebody before our stroke or whatever happened to us. It’s up to us to find out who we are now and decide to become all that we can be.
Let’s get better together. Let’s do this!
